The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce |
| The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce (GOCC) is hosting its first ever Ossining Nonprofit Expo (O.N.E.). The inaugural event is Sunday, March 29 from 2-5PM at Grace Episcopal Church, St Paul's Campus, 40 Ganung Dr, Ossining, NY. Organizations will have the opportunity to meet, mingle, and network for the first hour, from 2-3PM. There will be a public open house from 3-5PM. The GOCC recognizes that a thriving nonprofit sector and a thriving business community are deeply connected. Ossining’s nonprofit community supports the very workforce that powers our local businesses, and inspires the creativity that makes Ossining such a vibrant place to live, work, and play. O.N.E. is an opportunity to expand relationships between local business owners, nonprofit organizations, and our residents, which together can be key to a resilient local ecosystem. Greg Young, Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce Vice President, explained what inspired him to create this event, “Nonprofit organizations are such a significant part of our community, our business community understands the economic vitality and community well-being go hand-in-hand. This expo is about forging partnerships that strengthen both. When nonprofits and businesses collaborate, our whole community benefits.” Jennifer Molinoff, President of the Ossining Microfund, was one of the instrumental voices in bringing this idea to life. She reflected that “The Ossining Micro Fund is grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Ossining Non-Profit Expo and to connect with the many organizations dedicated to strengthening our community. The Expo is a wonderful opportunity for residents to learn about local nonprofits and discover volunteer opportunities where they can make a real difference in the lives of their neighbors.” Amy Hufnagel, Assistant Director of the Sing Sing Prison Museum, remarks that “there is an intrinsic link between Nonprofit organizations and for-profit-business in healthy small communities. The Sing Sing Prison Museum is as committed to education and public engagement as it is to promoting economic development for the greater Ossining and regional community. We are grateful to join this beautiful event and work together for a greater good.” Our Nonprofit Organizations can RSVP to join us, free of charge, by CLICKING HERE with a logistics info packet downloadable here |

The mission of the Ossining MATTERS Education Foundation is to support and enrich the learning opportunities for all children in the Ossining School District. The goal of the foundation is to generate community awareness and support for the Ossining School District in order to provide an ongoing source of funds, through grants and other fundraising efforts, to augment the programs offered in the Ossining Public Schools. Funds support programs in the areas of (but not limited to) academics, cultural arts, and athletics to ensure that each student realizes his or her fullest potential. | The Ossining Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer organization with a mission to thoughtfully address food insecurity of our neighbors in the Ossining/ Briarcliff community. We depend on the community for both financial support and volunteers to keep our programs running. The Ossining Food Pantry is a member agency of Feeding Westchester. | For over 20 years, the Ossining Micro Fund (OMF) has provided interest-free loans to help neighbors maintain stability. For families living paycheck to paycheck, an unexpected expense can threaten their housing, employment, or health. Our small loans strengthen the financial well-being of essential workers who care for children, support seniors, teach, and provide vital services. A small loan—averaging $2,700—can prevent a crisis for these families. |
